Third and final post of the day! I recently launched my Etsy shop to locals for a mini preview of products. In that product line up is a diy elderberry syrup kit which happened to be my biggest seller since i started taking orders a few days ago. The demand has been so over whelming that i decided to offer 8 oz jars of my syrup again like i did last year. In that sales post i was asked how i make my gummies which inspired this post. It’s super quick and easy. The kids love “helping” me do it too.
Ingredients:
•Silicon gummy bear molds
•1 TBSP coconut oil
•1 cup elderberry syrup
•1/4 cup gelatin powder
•1/2 cup hot water
Instructions:
•Grease molds or glass pan with coconut oil to prevent sticking.
•Place ¼ cup of cooled elderberry syrup in a 2 cup measuring cup and quickly whisk in the gelatin powder.
•Add the ½ cup of hot (not boiling) water and stir quickly until smooth.
•Add the rest of the elderberry syrup and stir or whisk until completely smooth.
•Pour into molds and refirgerate for 2 hours or until completely firm.
•Pop out of molds and store in airtight container with parchment paper between layers.
You can also find them on amazon.
And what kind of dog mom would i be if i didn’t slide in a pupdate. ALL OF THE PUPPIES HAVE HOMES! That’s right, All seven have homes including the one that we are keeping. We also will be welcoming a female puppy into our family in 2 weeks. Yup! TWO PUPPIES! We are growing our family by two doodles. And Don’t ask me how many dogs that makes, I’ll answer ‘a few’ 🤷🏻♀️
Here are some of Ginny’s babies. The 6 week old puppy in the last two pictures is Scotlynn, our newest doodle! The puppy in the second picture is Claire, the doodle from our litter that we are keeping.
