Hello loves, long time no type. I’m slacking massively in the blog department. Life is utter chaos and somehow we just seem to get busier by the minute. Today my girls had parents day at school so i had lunch with them. On Tuesday it was Hudson’s day so Brian went to have lunch with him that day. I love our aspect of team work and partner ship. We are my absolute favorite and I’m not even scared to boast about it ha.
I broke out the Fall clothes and wasn’t upset about it at all. The leaves around the farm are changing and it’s so exciting. Outfit and hair:
Jeans are from target. The top is from pink blush. The booties are from justfab. The jewelry is all from rustic cuff (aside from my wedding ring). The hair is simply messy curls with a braid pulled out to make it appear bigger. I’ll be doing another Instagram story on how to do it step by step soon so feel free to find me there. It’s super easy but gets soooo many compliments.
Anyways, I’m not ever going to be someone who forces posts just to produce content when my heart isn’t in it to write something. Our family has a lot going on. From school, work, homesteading, gymnastics, cheer, pregnancies (humans and pets), showing cattle, practicing my craft, writing a book (I’ll get more into the details on that as i learn more from my publisher), opening an apothecary shop on Etsy, average household errands, birthday parties, family get togethers, mini vacations, a family member recently diagnosed with brain cancer, remodeling/redecorating as always, and so much more — the blog just honestly hasn’t crossed my mind until tonight. I’m sitting outside doing my nightly meditation and I’m taken back to a past life. I have many past lives but this specific one has been coming up constantly in my dreams and subconscious mind and i think that it’s because i recently learned more details about my heritage. From the time that i was a child, mid century era in Scotland has been an obsession of mine. I have had more dreams than i can count in all stages of my life in relation to Scotland and living there. I’ve saw my own death as well as all of the events leading up to it. I’m absolutely heart bound to that place and that time. However, i did not know that I AM SCOTTISH. My dad did an ancestory dna test at Christmas time and i just found out that he’s over 50% Scottish. Today i found out that my mom is ALSO Scottish. It all made sense in those moments. My 7 year old has started dreaming of her Scottish past lives. It’s so intriguing to hear her tell me those stories. She doesn’t understand just yet why she has random dreams like that but she will someday. She’s so crazy about it that she actually requested to be a “Scottish princess” for Halloween. Her words, not mine. She’s wants the big curly red hair and all. History digging is another passion of mine. I could read about world history all day, every day. But certain regions scream at my soul. Reading about those events and places takes me back to those times. It takes me to those locations. I could not sleep for days and just revile in the research and books on it all. Or documentaries and movies. Any show set in 16-18th century Scotland, is guaranteed to be a favorite of mine. All of that to say, if any of my readers have advice on good history novels or documentaries please send them my way. And if any of you have past life stories or believe in reincarnation, can we please be friends? Seriously! Look me up and add me.
