I lied. I’m going to post one more thing before i take the week off while we are in Florida since we are traveling and i have had hours to spend on this, I’ve decided to compose a small (it’s huge but i say small because the resources are endless on this topic) list of resources and facts on vaccinations. If you don’t know yet, just before my youngest was born i decided to not vaccinate my children anymore until i felt comfortable with the choice to do so again. I was super pro vax. You can probably find posts in this blog of that side of me. We have always vaccinated on a schedule to lessen each dose but i never considered eradicating them all together until i was pregnant with Eilee. 

I get asked often why i don’t vaccinate any more? What was my deciding factor? The answer is this is that I’d rather take the small chance of my children getting sick than give them the 100% chance of being injected with poison. That’s undeniably what vaccines are, poison. That’s not my opinion. That’s a fact. My cousin Taylor developed seizures directly following her TDAP vaccine. My dad was hospitalized after his flu shot. My papa Jerry and grandma Rose, both got very ill after their flu shots. My son got full blown measles after his MMR. With my oldest we had a whooping cough scare. While in the hospital i asked the doctor how is it possible for her to have whooping cough when she’s received multiple vaccines as had our entire family (i was that strict about/pro vaccines) and he said to us, “Unfortunately ma’am vaccines aren’t always effective”. Like an idiot i still didn’t question what was in vaccines or their risk. I, just like so many others, assumed that the doctors wouldn’t do something multiple times a day if it wasn’t proven to be safe. But now i know that it’s NOT proven to be safe and i think, so let me get this straight? We inject our kids with poison for the small chance that they’ll get ill with a disease that statistically has an even smaller chance of being severe IF they do catch it when the poison isn’t even 100% effective or tested for safety? What the actual fuck?! At the end of the day i got physically sick when I’d think about vaccinating my youngest child (i was pro vax/not educated with my older children, sadly). I’d get so sick over it that I’d have anxiety attacks. I’d back out on vaccinating her last minute the first few times because i couldn’t go against my instinct as a mom. Over time as i educated myself more and more i had solid peace over my choice. Not just peace but passion. Passion for my choice and passion for making others at least stop and think. Had it not been for an antivax friend always posting stuff, i would of never thought to look into it myself. I would have just continued to do what was normal. Little to no questions asked. 

Fact, there have been ZERO safety studies done on vaccinations in 30 years. Fact, there are aborted human fetus cells in vaccinations. Fact, you can not keep your vaccinated kids around unvaccinated kids unless you live in a bubble so stop saying that ‘your kid will never be allowed to play with unvaccinated children’. Not only does your kid play with them at school daily but unless you and all of your loved ones are vaccinated regularly, you’re as good as not vaccinated. Vaccines do not provide long term immunity. Also, if you are newly vaccinated with certain vaccines YOU are the risk. YOU are a potential carrier of the illness that you were vaccinated for. I’ll stop there and just jump into my resources. They are all public knowledge and not something that i made up. 

So many people roll their eyes at the simple mention of ‘antivaccinate’. They stop there and refuse to hear anything. Their minds close and their attacks open. Yet they can not give you any information as to why they are so pro vaccinate. They say ‘vaccines save lives’ but can’t prove that. YOU ARE POISONING YOUR KIDS. That’s not me being a bitch. That’s the blunt and true way to say it. It’s poison being injected into them and you are the one allowing it. The very least that you could do is stop doing it because it’s what’s common or what everyone else does and research it for yourself. Please! You take a risk no matter what you decide. I know that. But I passionately believe that i take the risk that is less great and that’s what matters to me. Judgement does not. 

With all of that being said, do not think that I’m not grateful for modern day medication or health care. I am. I know that it saves so many lives and it is apart of the reason that i don’t have as much fear in my babies getting sick. But medications and vaccines are a multi billion dollar industry. They are a money pit. They are abused and over prescribed. Thank God for medical treatments that save lives but that doesn’t mean that they are always a life savers or that they come with no risks. 

This is a lot, i know but stop ignoring the dangers. Stop trusting everything that your doctor says. After all on average they have 2 hours of training on vaccines AND most of them receive bonuses for every vaccine that they give! Look into it yourself with an open mind. Credit, check, and recheck to confirm these statements.

2. What is MRC-5?

MRC-5 (Medical research council strain 5) is a diploid human cell culture line composed of fibroblasts derived from lung tissue of an 14 week old aborted Caucasian male fetus. The cell line was isolated by J.P. Jacobs and colleagues in September 1966. 

MRC-5 cells are used to produce several vaccines including MMR, Varicella and Polio. Infected MRC-5 cells secrete the virus, and can be cultured in large volumes suitable for commercial production.

3. What is WI-38?

When a live virus vaccine is shed in body fluids like sneezing, coughing, saliva, sweat, urine, feces and vomit.

Methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase. 

A gene mutation in which it is difficult to metabolize folate and eliminate toxins. People with #MTHFR have higher incidence of adverse reactions from vaccines.

30. What is an acceptable amount of aluminum to ingest per day and how much is injected via the hep B vaccine on day one of life? 

The FDA safety limit for aluminum is 4-5mcg/kg of body weight per day. Hep B contains 250 mcg of aluminum and is given on day one of life.

31. Can someone who was vaccinated for pertussis still spread pertussis after being exposed to it? If so for how long?

Yes, a person who is vaccinated for pertussis may have some protection from the disease, but if exposed to pertussis, becomes an asymptomatic carrier and harbors the bacteria in the throat and therefore can transmit the infection to others unknowingly for a few weeks.

32. What is the death rate from measles in the US from 2005-2015? 

MMR vaccine in same time frame?

Zero deaths from measles, 108 from #MMR vaccine.

Fact, the current CDC vaccination schedule has never been tested collectively for safety.

Fact, there are 13 CDC scientists that have come forward saying that the CDC is committing scientific fraud. 

Fact, Willam Thompson, Senior CDC Scientist, turned over 10,000 documents to Senator Bill Posey, which showed that the CDC lied, destroyed, and manipulated data which proved the MMR vaccine did and can cause Autism. 

Fact, the VICP has paid out over $4.3 Billion in vaccine injury cases (which is a small fraction of the cases that are submitted and an even smaller fraction of the cases of injury that are not submitted) 

Fact, vaccines contain numerous carcinogenic substances. 

Fact, recent studies showed that many of the common childhood vaccines tested positive for high levels of glyphosate. ( Monsanto's cancer causing pesticide)

Fact, your doctor is supposed to go through the vaccine insert and documented side effects with you before administering a vaccine. ( This is rarely if ever done, which means you did not receive informed consent for a medical procedure) 

Fact, the average doctor receives about 2 hours of vaccine education in their 4 years in medical school.

Fact, SB277 was passed in California last year which stripped your parental rights for declining any of the recommended childhood Immunizations on the CDC schedule for your children to enter school. 

Fact, the Senators that wrote the bill SB277, Richard Pan and Ben Allen, were aware of the CDC fraud and pushed the bill through anyways. They were paid at least a half million by Pharmaceutical companies to "ignore" that fact.

Fact, there are hundreds of brilliant doctors and scientists all over the world that are speaking out against vaccines and the lack of safety surrounding them. 

Fact, Robert Kennedy and Robert De Niro offered a $100,000 reward to anyone that could provide a study showing the thimerosal containing flu shots given to pregnant women and babies are safe. 

Fact, no one has come forward to claim that prize SINCE THEY OFFERED IT several months ago.

Fact, the United States has the HIGHEST INFANT MORTALITY RATE of all Industrialized Countries in the World.

Fact, childhood Cancer has become the leading cause of death in those under the age of 18. 1 out of 2 Americans will get cancer in their lifetime.

Fact, autoimmune Diseases and deadly Allergies which our Grandparents had never heard of are skyrocketing, causing disability and death in millions of Americans. Allergies affected 30 million people and autoimmune disorders affect 24 million people in 2015 when they did a census.

Fact, U.S. deaths from Alzheimer's disease rose by more than 50 percent from 1999 to 2014, and rates are expected to continue to rise. Alzheimer's is the sixth-leading cause of death in the United States, accounting for 3.6 percent of all deaths in 2014, the report said.

Fact, stories that claim a baby died from getting a disease from an unvaccinated person can not be proven to be true! There is no way to proven those claims. The odds are far greater that the child caught it from a newly vaccinate person or child that was shedding. 

Damned if you do & damned if you don’t

OH BOY! Less than a week into mentioning that I’m going back to school part time and I’ve already heard a snide comment about it. You do nothing but sit on your ass if you are a stay at home mom and you aren’t cherishing enough of your time with your babies if you’re a working mom. You can’t win for losing as a mother. Someone, somewhere is going to have something negative to say about your choices. I stayed at home for going on 7 years and physically raised 4 children (at one point i was raising 5 under 5 when we fostered) mostly on my own. My husband supports us financially and always has but the physical raising was 85% done by me. He is amazing and helps when he can but he also works more than most men and when he does get home from work he works on farm chores until dark. I give him all of the praise for our financial survival. Honestly, part of what excites me to work outside of the home is so that i can buy him nice things all by myself. I’ve surprised him with little stuff like OSU football tickets and i paid his way on a trip to Colorado with his buddies. But that was with money from selling MLM products and doing photography. Those pay checks don’t buy big stuff and i had to save for a long time to afford the small stuff. I have to plan weeks to months in advance to save enough of my own money just to buy him basic gifts. The thought of easily being extra ON MY OWN thrills me. At one point a year or so ago i saw a girl who stays at home and doesn’t have a paying job say that she “got her husband a fully loaded brand new truck” as a gift. Like, no! Unless you have $50k plus stashed out from some freak side job that you’ve never mentioned, you didn’t buy him shit. You have no income and couldn’t get approved for a loan on your own. You are not paying that payment. He is. Give your man the credit that he deserves. I have watched Brian work so hard all of our marriage and i literally can not wait to lift some of the financial burden off of him. Child birth and breastfeeding empowers me dramatically but i think helping our family financially will be empowering too. 

I am more than pumped to finally finish the small amount of schooling that i have left and start my career but negative comments do bring me down a bit. It’s already going to be hard to leave Eilee. Even though she will be with Brian and it’ll only be 22 hours a week it is still going to be hard. Judgement for outsiders doesn’t help. For a split second it makes me feel guilty. I already have that insecurity — what if I’m not doing the right thing but at the end of the day i know that’s just my mom heart talking. The heart that’s done nothing but raise babies nearly all of my adult life. It’s all that i know and change is scary. I’m doing what’s right for everyone though and it’ll be so worth it. The solution that I’ve settled on is a perfect blend. It’s ideal for many reasons. I’m so passionate about the beauty industry and i want to learn more constantly. I want to grow as a cosmetologist and make up artist. I want to branch out and continuously grow my knowledge in the beauty world for my whole career. I spend hours each night after my family goes to bed watching tutorials and taking online courses to learn new techniques for hair and make up. I have done it since i made my mind up to pursue the beauty world going on 8 years ago. I’m obsessed with it. 

All of that to say to you (and to myself), do not let snide comments make you doubt yourself. Whether you stay at home forever and simply be a homemaker or you’ve worked full time from the day that your child was born, if you are confident and happy with your choice that’s all that matters. Or maybe you don’t have a choice, that’s fine too. You are doing what you have to do for your family! You are an inspiration. I’m so tired of the stigmas if you work or if you don’t work. What is best for one person or family isn’t always going to be what’s best for another. It’s not anyone’s damn place to say ANYTHING negative about it. As my husband said when i was ranting to him about this, “Just tell them bye, Felicia!” hahahaha. **Reason #83959299503 that i love him**

Also, we are leaving for Florida so i will be away from the blog for a week. I will post when we return and include some of our family pictures from the beach session. I’m SO excited about them. I have several friends who just returned from Destin and the water is stunning there right now. I’m pumped and ready to live some ‘mermaid hair & salty air’ life.
